This full-day scientific program will offer realistic views on many controversial issues in cardiovascular disease today. In addition to a review of current guidelines, practices and new developments in the field of cardiovascular medicine, session topics will include atherosclerosis, hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, cardiometabolic stroke, arrhythmias, imaging, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, health care reform, and racial/ethnic disparities papers published in 2011-2012.

The sessions will include combinations of didactic lectures, keynote lectures, and roundtable discussions. A faculty of internationally known leaders in the field has been invited to share their knowledge and experiences with complex and controversial cases.
